This week, Campaign Foundations celebrates the launch of its first application developed in house since the creation of the partnership. Developed under contract with the Annual National Meeting Committee of the Green Party of the United States, Organize::Registration seeks to offer a complete event registration application.

Version 0.10b has now been deployed by the Green Party of the United States and is being used to pre-register Delegates for an upcoming Annual Meeting of its National Committee.

CampaignFoundations.com intends to make this application available to organizations planning events as a part of a series of Application Hosting Packages, soon to be announced by the new partnership.

After a round of initial beta testing, CampaignFoundations.com will also be releasing the code under the Gnu Public License to the CPAN repository. The application, made available as a collection of perl modules, provides a web accessible event registration form, and is designed to use templates and a human readable configuration file to serve an event specifc form, build a database of registrants and their needs, generate an invoice and email confirmation and hand off to a credit card processor to complete the transaction.

Future development is expected to develop a series of reports to help event organizers organize their event, instead of their data. CampaignFoundations.com welcomes inquiries from organizations seeking such an application and particularly those willing to support the ongoing development of this and other applications offered by the Partnership.
